- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆DO NOT TRUST THIS MECHANIC (esp. Grant).My car broke down and needed a new battery (or even someone to jump it). I got it towed in to their workshop by an EXTERNAL towing company (CMM charged me $85 for this for god knows). They told me that the battery had died and the alternator needed to be replaced on a two year car, that was bought brand new. They wanted to charge me $950 and repeatedly told me that it would break down after an hour of driving.I asked to leave it for a day for me to think and ask my partner/dad. He repeatedly told me not to leave it any longer as he would need to send this to a sparkie which would take more days AND more money.It has now been well over a month and my car has been running smoothly, no problems. They told me that they would subsidise part of my towing for $99 but on my invoice they charged me $85 for a job they did not do. At no point did they take THEIR TOW and put my car on it. it was done by an external towing company that I had arranged prior when my car broke down.DO NOT TRUST THESE MECHANICSI have heard bad things about this mechanic. My friend had insurance work done and marked all the parts that needed to be replaced.
